Roller Garage Doors
Automatic roller garage doors, made to measure
A roller garage door does two jobs at once. It secures what is often the least protected entrance to a property, and it gives you back the space a traditional up-and-over door wastes. It locks itself as it closes. It stops and retracts if anything is in its path. And it runs from a remote handset, with a manual override for power cuts.
Most of our installations replace a tired up-and-over door.
We supply and install made-to-measure automatic roller garage doors across Shropshire, the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Mid Wales. Every door is measured on site and built to the opening. If you are not sure what you have now, send us a photograph and we will tell you what your options are.

Why a roller door
It locks itself
The door locks automatically as it closes. There are no external handles and no leverage points, so there is nothing on the outside for an intruder to work against. Heavy-duty 90mm guide channels and reinforced mouldings hold the curtain in place.
Safety sensors as standard
Every door we fit includes obstruction detection. If anything enters the path of the curtain as it closes, the door stops and retracts. That matters on a driveway used by children or pets.
Space you get back
The curtain rolls into a compact housing above the opening rather than swinging out or tracking back along the ceiling. Overhead storage stays usable and you keep the full drive-through height.
Warmer and quieter
Foam-filled slats, brush seals in the guides, and a rubber bottom seal cut heat loss and noise. A typical installation achieves a U-value of around 5 W/m²K, which makes a noticeable difference to a garage used as a workshop or a gym.
How they operate
Each door is operated by remote handset using a rolling encrypted code, so the signal cannot be captured and replayed. Working range is up to 50 metres, and courtesy lighting comes on whenever the door operates.
Every door includes a manual override, so a power cut does not leave you locked out of your own garage.
If you already have electric gates, or are considering them, the two can be synchronised to run from a single handset. Read more about gate automation.

Finishes and colours
Standard solid colours are supplied with matching box and guides, or with traditional white or brown: brown, chartwell green, cream, dark blue, duck egg blue, fir green, ivory, moss green, red, silver, velvet brown, white, agate grey, anthracite, beige, black, and graphite.
Painted wood effects are also standard, supplied with brown box and guides: painted oak, rosewood, walnut, and Irish oak.
Wood laminate finishes are available at a surcharge in golden oak, Irish oak, mahogany, rosewood, white, anthracite, and black. The laminate is applied to one face only, so these suit internal face fits. Enclosures and guide channels can be powder coated to other RAL or BS colours at additional cost, and other laminate finishes are available on request.

Survey, installation, and guarantee
Every installation starts with a free site survey. We measure the opening, check the mounting options and the power supply, and talk through the finishes with you. There is no obligation and no hard sell.
Domestic installations across the West Midlands, Staffordshire, and Shropshire carry a five-year product and workmanship guarantee. Because we are local, we handle our own aftercare rather than passing you to a national call centre.
