Industrial Roller Doors
Industrial roller doors for farms and rural businesses
A machinery shed, a grain store, or a workshop full of tools is usually the most valuable building on a rural site, and often the least watched. An industrial roller door gives it a solid steel or aluminium barrier that rolls up out of the way when you need the full opening, and comes down to lock it when you do not.
Most of the doors we fit go on agricultural and rural commercial buildings: implement sheds, feed and grain stores, farm workshops, converted outbuildings, and small industrial units.
We supply and install made-to-measure industrial roller doors across Shropshire, the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Mid Wales. Every door is measured on site and built to the opening.

Why an industrial roller door
A solid barrier
Interlocking galvanised steel or aluminium slats run in heavy-duty guide channels either side of the opening. Closed, the door presents a flat face with nothing to get a bar behind, which puts off the opportunist and slows down anyone more determined.
The full opening, every time
The curtain rolls into a housing above the opening instead of swinging out or sliding across. There are no doors to catch in the wind and no tracks on the floor, so tractors, trailers, and telehandlers get the full width and height.
Built for the weather
Exposed rural buildings take the worst of the wind and rain. A roller door keeps weather, debris, and vermin out of stored feed, grain, and machinery, and stands up to the heavy daily use a working yard puts it through.
Insulated if you need it
Insulated slats help keep a workshop, farm shop, or converted outbuilding at a steadier temperature and cut noise from outside. For a store that only needs securing, a single-skin door keeps the cost down.
Manual or electric
Smaller doors that are opened once or twice a day can be operated by hand. For larger openings, or a door that goes up and down all day, an electric motor makes far more sense, operated by a wall switch, a key switch, or a remote handset from the cab.
We handle all the electrical work ourselves, and can connect the door to your alarm if you want it covered by the same system.
If you have, or are planning, electric gates at the yard entrance, we can set the two up to work together. Read more about gate automation.

Recent installation: Samco
[What Samco needed: the building, what it was used for, and the problem with the old door or opening.]
[What we fitted: number of doors, approximate size, steel or aluminium, manual or electric, any insulation or finish.]
[The result, ideally in their words if they are happy to be quoted.]

Survey, installation and aftercare
Every installation starts with a free site survey. We measure the opening, check the structure the door will fix to and the power supply, and talk through how the building is used day to day. There is no obligation and no hard sell.
We fit around the working week where we can, so a door can go in without holding up harvest or lambing. Because we are local, we handle our own servicing and repairs rather than passing you to a national call centre.
Securing the rest of the site
A secure building is only part of the picture on a farm or rural business. We also fit farm and field gates, woven steel fencing, and bollards and barriers, and our agricultural security solutions page covers how they work together.
For shop fronts and smaller commercial openings, see our security shutters and grilles. For homes, see roller garage doors.
If you already have a roller shutter and just want to lock it better, our sister site Simply Secure Direct stocks the Bulldog GR500 roller shutter door lock for you to fit yourself.
