Intercoms & Access Control

An automated gate is only as useful as the system that controls it. Being able to identify visitors before you open the gate, grant access to regular callers without getting up, and manage entry from your phone when you are not at home are the things that make automation truly convenient.

We install intercom and access control systems as part of new gate automation projects and as upgrades to existing automated gates.

VIDEO INTERCOMS:

A video intercom lets you see and speak to anyone at your gate before deciding whether to let them in. Modern systems display the image on an indoor screen and on your smartphone, so you can answer from the kitchen, the office, or the other side of the world.

We install systems with sharp camera quality that works well in daylight and at night, clear two-way audio, and reliable wireless connectivity for smartphone integration. Multiple indoor screens can be installed for larger homes, and some systems support recording so you have a log of who has visited.

KEYPADS AND CODE ENTRY:

Keypad entry is useful for people who need regular access without needing to call through on the intercom. You assign a code to regular visitors, tradespeople, or family members, and they let themselves in. Codes can be changed at any time, which is useful when arrangements change.

PROXIMITY READERS AND FOBS:

For hands-free access, proximity readers allow authorised users to open the gate by holding a fob or card near the reader. This is particularly convenient for residents who do not want to wind down their car window in the rain to enter a code.

SMARTPHONE CONTROL:

Many of the systems we install include smartphone apps that let you open and close your gates remotely, answer the intercom from anywhere, and review a history of access events. This level of control is increasingly expected by homeowners and is standard on most of our recent installations.
