Yes. Every project starts with a free, no-obligation site visit. We will take measurements, discuss your requirements, and provide a detailed quotation afterwards. 

A typical residential gate installation takes one to two days. More complex projects involving bespoke gates, automation, and access control may take longer. We will confirm the expected timescale when we provide your quotation. 

In many cases, no. Gates under 1 metre high adjacent to a highway, or under 2 metres elsewhere, usually fall within permitted development. There are exceptions for listed buildings, conservation areas, and properties where permitted development rights have been removed. We have a detailed guide in our advice section, and we can advise during the site survey. 

We cover the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Mid Wales, and Shropshire. Our base is near Shrewsbury, and we are happy to discuss projects across this area. 

Often, yes. If your existing gates are in good structural condition and suitable for automation, adding motors and access control can be a cost-effective upgrade. We will assess your gates during the site survey and give you an honest opinion. 

Gate Safe is a UK charity that accredits gate installers who meet specific safety standards. We hold Gate Safe Premier Installer status, the highest level of accreditation. This means every automated gate we install meets current safety legislation. 

Yes. We are happy to take on the maintenance of automated gate systems regardless of who installed them originally. 

At least annually. An annual service includes testing all safety devices, checking force levels, inspecting mechanical components, and lubricating moving parts. Commercial gates with heavy traffic may benefit from more frequent servicing. 

We accept bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna. Payment terms are discussed as part of the quotation process.
