Most gate suppliers sell products designed for suburban driveways and then suggest you adapt them for farm use. With AgriGate, we are taking the opposite approach: starting with the realities of agricultural life and working from there.
That means a gate being designed to handle daily use by heavy vehicles, automation planned to run reliably off solar power in the middle of a field, and safety built in around the specific risks that rural properties face. It also means a team that understands farming. We are based in Roden, right in the heart of Shropshire’s agricultural country, and we work with farmers and landowners every week.

AgriGate is being built as a complete, pre-built package: gate, posts, operator, control panel, safety devices, remote controls, and magnetic lock in one delivery, wired and factory-tested before it leaves our workshop. Mains power as standard, with a solar and battery upgrade planned for remote locations.
Farm and field gates
From standard five-bar field gates to heavy-duty galvanised estate gates, we supply and install gates built to withstand years of agricultural use. Available in timber and steel, with widths from 3ft pedestrian gates right up to 16ft field entrances.
Equestrian gates and fencing
Specialist solutions for livery yards, paddocks, riding schools, and equestrian centres. Our equestrian range combines secure containment with safe design, because a gate that spooks horses is worse than no gate at all.
Agricultural security
Rural crime may be falling nationally, but tractor and livestock theft remain a real concern across the Midlands. We provide integrated security packages combining automated gates, access control, intercoms, and perimeter protection specifically designed for agricultural premises.

Yes. While the pre-built AgriGate system is still in development, our engineers design and install bespoke automated gate systems for farms now and will take care of the lot.
We are a Gate Safe Premier Installer, and every automated gate system we fit complies fully with current UK safety regulations. We carry out formal risk assessments, install appropriate safety devices and provide all the documentation you need for insurance and compliance purposes.

Can I see examples of your farm gate work?
Yes. Our work includes a single-leaf steel gate for a family farm with on-gate ram automation and obstruction detection, designed to match the main entrance gates we automated around 12 years ago. It also includes a tracked, automated aluminium sliding gate for an agricultural site, and the automation of an existing galvanised field gate for a garden centre.
