Aluminium Gates

Good-looking gates that will not rust

Aluminium has become one of the most popular materials for residential and commercial gates, and it is easy to see why. No rust. Very little maintenance. A powder-coated finish in a wide range of RAL colours. And a weight significantly lighter than steel or iron, which makes aluminium ideal for automation.

It can even replicate the look of wrought iron.

We supply and install aluminium gates across the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Mid Wales. Our range includes both ready-made designs for quicker delivery and bespoke options made to your exact measurements and style preferences, and every project starts with a free site survey.

Why choose aluminium?

Aluminium gates offer several practical advantages over other materials. The most obvious is that they will not rust. Unlike iron or steel, aluminium does not corrode when exposed to rain, frost, or road salt. This makes them particularly well-suited to properties in exposed or rural locations where weather takes its toll.

The lighter weight of aluminium also means less strain on posts, hinges, and gate automation systems. This translates to lower wear and tear over time and often means that a smaller, less expensive motor can be used for automation.

Modern aluminium gates are powder-coated in a wide range of RAL colours, so you are not limited to black or grey. The coating is baked on and provides excellent resistance to fading, chipping, and scratching.

In terms of style, aluminium gates are available in everything from traditional designs with vertical bars and scrollwork through to clean contemporary panels. Most of our customers are surprised by how closely aluminium can replicate the look of wrought iron, but without the ongoing maintenance.

What we offer

Our aluminium gate service covers everything from initial advice through to completed installation. A typical project looks something like this:

  1. We visit your property for a free site survey, take measurements, and discuss what you are looking for in terms of style, budget, and functionality. If you want automation, we assess the best system for your gates and site.
  2. Once you have agreed a design, the gates are manufactured to your specification. Lead times vary depending on whether you choose a ready-made design or a bespoke option, but we will always give you a realistic timescale upfront.
  3. Installation includes all post work, hanging, finishing, and automation if required. We do not leave until everything is working properly and you are confident operating the system.

Ready-made or bespoke?

Our ready-made aluminium gates come in a selection of popular designs and standard sizes. They are a cost-effective option if one of the designs and sizes matches your requirements, and they typically have shorter lead times.

For properties where standard sizes will not work, or where you want a specific design, our bespoke service gives you complete flexibility. We can match existing features on your property, incorporate specific design elements, or create something entirely original.

Maintenance

One of the biggest advantages of aluminium gates is how little attention they need. An occasional wash with soapy water is usually all that is required to keep them looking good. The powder-coated finish does not need repainting, and there is no risk of rust developing.

If your gates are automated, the mechanical components will benefit from an annual service to keep everything running smoothly. We offer servicing packages for all the systems we install.

Ready-made aluminium gates, online
