Premises Security
Protecting homes, businesses, and commercial sites
Security is about more than gates. Vehicles where they should not be. Shop fronts and service hatches exposed overnight. A garage door that is the weakest point on the property. Protecting a site properly usually takes a combination of measures working together: physical barriers to deter, protection for vulnerable openings, and access control to manage who gets in and who does not.
No two sites need exactly the same thing.
We supply and install bollards and barriers, security grilles and roller shutters, automatic roller garage doors, and woven steel fencing across the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Mid Wales. Every system is designed around your property after a thorough site assessment, because off-the-shelf solutions rarely address the actual vulnerabilities of a site.

Our premises security services

Bollards & barriers
Automatic and static bollards, rising barriers, telescopic posts, and removable parking posts. Physical protection for entrances, car parks, and pedestrian areas.

Security grilles & shutters
Roller shutters and security grilles for commercial frontages, windows, and service hatches. Protection against break-in and vandalism.

Roller garage doors
We supply and install made-to-measure automatic roller garage doors across Shropshire, the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Mid Wales.

Woven steel fencing
Made-to-measure woven steel fencing for perimeter security, livestock control and boundary marking. Bespoke to your site after a free survey.

How we work
We start with a site visit. Every property has different vulnerabilities, different access points, and different operational requirements. A barrier position that works perfectly at one entrance might be completely wrong at another. A bollard system that suits a quiet residential street would be inadequate for a busy commercial car park.
During the site assessment, we identify the specific risks, recommend appropriate measures, and explain what each element of the system does and why we are suggesting it. The goal is a proportionate solution that addresses the real risks without over-engineering or over-spending.
Security products to fit yourself
Not every job needs us on site. Where a lock, a post or an anchor is all a property needs, our sister site sells them ready to fit.
Locks, posts and anchors
These are sold by Simply Secure Direct, our sister site. Every link in this panel leaves this website and opens their shop in a new tab.

What premises security do you install?
We supply and install bollards and barriers, security grilles and roller shutters, automatic roller garage doors and woven steel fencing.
For farms and rural businesses we also fit made-to-measure industrial roller doors, and we can add intercoms and access control to manage who gets in and who does not.
How do you work out what security my property needs?
We start with a free site assessment, because every property has different vulnerabilities, access points and operational requirements.
During the visit we identify the specific risks, recommend appropriate measures, and explain what each part of the system does and why we are suggesting it. A barrier position that suits one entrance can be completely wrong at another, so nothing is specified until we have seen the site. You can request a free site assessment online or call us on 01952 740308. Our installation process page explains each step.
How much premises security do I actually need?
Enough to address the real risks on your site, and no more. Our aim is a proportionate solution, without over-engineering or over-spending.
A bollard system that suits a quiet residential street would be inadequate for a busy commercial car park, so the right level of protection depends on how your property is used. We talk this through during the site survey and set out the options in your quotation. To start, ask us for a free quote.
Why use more than one security measure on a property?
Because protecting a site properly usually takes a combination of measures working together: physical barriers to deter, protection for vulnerable openings, and access control.
In practice that might mean bollards or barriers to keep vehicles where they should be, shutters or grilles over shop fronts and service hatches, and access control at the entrance. Every system is designed around your property after a thorough site assessment.
Do you install security for businesses as well as homes?
Yes. We protect homes, businesses and commercial sites, from a single garage door to a factory perimeter.
For homes, that is often an automatic roller garage door or a bollard to protect a parking space. For businesses, it can be shutters for shop fronts, traffic barriers for a car park or yard, or woven steel fencing around the site. You can see examples on our work page.
Do you secure farm buildings and rural business premises?
Yes. Most of the industrial roller doors we fit go on agricultural and rural commercial buildings, such as implement sheds, grain stores and farm workshops.
We also fit woven steel fencing, bollards and barriers and farm and field gates. Our agricultural security solutions page explains how these work together on a working site.
Can I buy security locks, posts and ground anchors to fit myself?
Yes. Not every job needs us on site, and where a lock, a post or an anchor is all a property needs, our sister site Simply Secure Direct sells them ready to fit.
Its premises and property range includes garage security, security posts and bollards and ground anchors and chains. Simply Secure Direct is an authorised Bulldog dealer, and its team can advise on the right product before you buy.
Have you installed premises security for other businesses?
Yes. Recent projects include perimeter security fencing, a sliding gate and hydraulic traffic barriers for a factory in Llanidloes, and new electric security roller shutters for a commercial client near Pontesbury.
At a caravan and camping site near Market Drayton, we have fitted several heavy-duty hydraulic barriers over 10 years as the business has grown. See more on our work page, or read about our bollards and barriers.
