Description
These arched driveway gates have fleur-de-lys spear finials and rise to 1245mm (49in) at the centre of the pair. Six sizes cover drive openings from 7ft to 12ft.

- Gaps (post to post): 2134mm (7ft), 2438mm (8ft), 2743mm (9ft), 3048mm (10ft), 3353mm (11ft) or 3658mm (12ft)
- Side frame 820mm, rising in an arch to 1245mm at the centre
- Hinge and latch gaps are already allowed for
Construction and finish
- Solid steel, supplied as a pair
- Frame 25mm x 10mm; infill bars 12mm
- Electro-galvanised, then powder coated black
- Two drop bolts hold the gates open or closed
The galvanising and powder coat add rust resistance, but they are not a 100% rust-proof guarantee. Check the finish now and then and touch up any chips with paint. Paint the nuts and bolts after fitting, and keep touching up the hinges and other moving parts. Made-to-measure sizes are available on this range, so ring us for a quote. Made-to-measure metal is normally supplied primed only unless agreed otherwise, so it needs painting.
What’s included
The gates come with hinge brackets, bolts, a tip latch and two drop bolts. Screws and wall plugs are not included.
Posts and fixing
Hang the gates on blank metal posts, 50mm or 70mm square and 1500mm long, sold separately. The 50mm post suits the 7ft and 8ft gaps and the 70mm post for any size up to 12ft. The post or brickwork must be strong enough to carry the gate. Blank posts need drilling on site to take the brackets, and you position the brackets to suit. Ask us if the ground slopes.
