Description
A tall bow top side gate with ball finials, built to close off a side passage. Four widths fit gaps from 762mm (2ft 6in) to 1220mm (4ft), and the gate gets a little taller as it gets wider.

- Gap 762mm (2ft 6in): 1910mm (75.2in) high
- Gap 914mm (3ft): 1930mm (76in) high
- Gap 1067mm (3ft 6in): 1940mm (76.8in) high
- Gap 1220mm (4ft): 1955mm (77in) high
- Side shoulder height 1772mm; the heights above are to the top of the ball finial
- Hinge and latch gaps are already allowed for. Overall height may vary slightly because of the bow
Construction and finish
- Solid steel
- Frame 25mm x 10mm; infill bars 12mm
- Electro-galvanised, then powder coated black
- Universal: hangs left or right hand
The galvanising and powder coat add rust resistance, but they are not a 100% rust-proof guarantee. Check the finish now and then and touch up any chips with paint. Paint the nuts and bolts after fitting, and keep touching up the hinges and other moving parts. Made-to-measure sizes are available on this range, so ring us for a quote. Made-to-measure metal is normally supplied primed only unless agreed otherwise, so it needs painting.
What’s included
You get hinge angle brackets, bolts, and a tip latch and catch. Screws and wall plugs are not included.
Posts and fixing
Hang tall gates on strong posts. Blank metal posts 2350mm long suit this gate, sold separately. They need drilling on site to take the brackets. The post or brickwork must be strong enough to carry the gate. The gate fixes to brickwork, metal or timber posts.
