Description
The flat Balmoral railing panel is a spear top garden railing in steel, built on 40mm x 10mm frames. It matches the Balmoral gates and suits a front boundary or the edge of a drive.

One size is available. It fits a 1830mm (6ft) post to post gap, with the fixing gaps allowed for.

Construction and finish
Solid steel with 40mm x 10mm frames and 16mm round solid infill bars.
Choose your finish: primed and painted, or electro-galvanised and powder coated
Both options are black, but they are not the same product, so check which one you are ordering.
- Primed and painted black: the lower-priced option. The steel is primed and painted only. It is not galvanised or powder coated. It needs a good rust-inhibiting top coat after fitting, and more upkeep over the years.
- Electro-galvanised and powder coated black: the dearer option. The steel is electro-galvanised for added rust resistance, then powder coated. It needs less upkeep.
Neither finish is rust-proof. On the galvanised and powder coated version, check it now and then, touch up any chips with paint and expect to repaint every couple of years.

Screws and wall plugs are not included. Paint the nuts and bolts after fitting to stop them rusting.
Posts and fixing
Suitable posts are 50mm or 70mm square, bolt-down or concrete-in. The blank posts we sell need drilling on site, and bolt-down bolts are not included. On sloping ground you may need longer posts.
